TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
Participation in mountain bike tours is at the customer’s own risk. All participants in our technique courses, tours, and events must ensure they have valid accident insurance covering the consequences of a possible accident. A valid liability insurance covering damage caused to third parties is also required.
The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants due to technical defects of their equipment or in cases of grossly negligent behavior. On our mountain bike tours, we mainly ride on unpaved cycle paths and hiking trails. Therefore, always ride within sight distance, assess the difficulty of individual sections on your own responsibility, and dismount and push the bike if necessary. The Italian road traffic regulations apply: on public roads you must ride single file.
You will need bike clothing adapted to the weather conditions. Helmets are compulsory for all participants. For freeride and enduro tours, we advise against clipless pedals unless you are very experienced with them. We recommend knee and elbow protectors as well as a backpack with protector.
Children and adolescents under 16 years may only participate in tours if accompanied by their parents. Adolescents aged 16–18 may participate in the tour program if they also join a technique course and provide parental consent. No participant may leave the group without first informing the accompanying guide. Possible travel or transfer costs are not included in the participation fee.
Plose Bike Academy may cancel the event at any time in case of bad weather if the safety of participants is at risk.
