The first edition of the bike festa Südtirol in Brixen
From September 17th to 20th, 2026, Brixen will become the stage for the bicycle in all its facets. In the middle of Brixen’s old town, product meets personality, test drive meets wine enjoyment, brand story meets art action. The bike festa is not just an event – it is an invitation to celebrate, experience and participate.
The focus will be on four worlds of experience:
brand festa
ride festa
people festa
gusto festa
The brand festa creates an experience for people together with the participating brands. Whether at the expo in the old town, in the art gallery or at the traditional Buschenschänken – spaces for inspiration, interaction and staging are created.
The ride festa shows how diverse the bike has become. Whether gravel, (E-)MTB, racing bike, urban or kids bike: new routes lead the participants from the city along the river, through the vineyards and up to the Dolomites. Every ride becomes a test and pleasure experience, for beginners and experts alike, for young and old.
The event brings people together – locals and guests, brands and opinions, generations and interests. That’s why there is also a separate world of experience for this, the people festa. The workshops, lectures, art actions and games offer opportunities for exchange – with space for new perspectives. Kids Area, inclusion, culture – Brixen lives encounter and this is specifically placed in the center at bike festa.
And since South Tyrol is an absolute pleasure region, the culinary arts run like a red thread through the gusto festa world of experience. From wine tasting at the edge of the trail, to muesli bar baking lessons with South Tyrolean chefs, to the Apero Hour with local producers. If you want, you can combine the product presentation with a small culinary experience.
Brixen combines city and nature, movement and pleasure. Historical backdrops meet innovative bikes, vineyards meet trails. With cycle paths, views of the Dolomites, Buschenschänken and urban flair, Brixen offers everything a modern bike event needs – including GreenEvent certification, regional products and a clear sustainability strategy.
